Thats broadly it for the season - no more training at Tonbridge but a few more matches outstanding - have a good summer

Results from Canterbury tournament

Boys U12 - won 4, lost 4, drew 2
Girls U12 - equal 2nd; undefeated won 3, drew 4, for 10, against 2
Boys U10 - won for the second year running - played 6, won 6, for 11, against 0
Girls U10 -
Mixed U8 - equal 1st but came 2nd on goal difference

JDC - Junior Development Centres
The JDC is the lowest rung on the ladder which leads through county squads to playing for England. We operate the Tonbridge based JDC jointly with Sevenoaks and there will be training on Wednesday and Thursday evenings in Sept/Oct/Nov for player with 1997/8/9/2000 birthdays. Players from this group may be put forward for assessment in January to go into the county squads. If you are interested, please contact the Junior Coordinator - Alec.

* Please respond to all emails quickly - even if it is just to say you will get back with an answer later - we try to arrange teams three weeks in advance and it is very difficult to organise teams if we don't know who is available. If there is a better email address to use, let us know. If you don't get the weekly email, you need to contact us. If you become unavailable (flu?) let us know asap.
* Membership form - please make sure you have completed a membership/consent form before you come to training.
* Senior on Saturdays - we hope as many U15/16s as possible will play for senior teams on Saturdays - go along to senior training
* Kit - please note the forms on the website for obtaining junior kit; and note the U15/16 teams will play in senior ladies kit or senior men's kit with numbers; please order them in good time.
* Goalies academy - open to all junior goalies. Contact Martin Hadaway. Times will (I hope) be noted with each week's training schedule.
* Please remember to bring mouthguard, shinpads and something to drink every time you come to training. Please wear appropriate clothing, especially for cold (several layers of undershirt rather than an overcoat!). Aim to arrive to register and warm up fifteen minutes before your session, but do not come onto the pitch until your session starts.
* PLEASE - do not bring dogs to the Tonbridge School pitches - by request of the school.

* Frost and Snow - If you think there is a risk of cancellations, watch the stop press page for a latest update. We stop for snow and sometimes for frost, seldon for rain. Note that Tonbridge school pitches are never a problem with frost although Hawkenbury and many away venues can pose problems. If in doubt, call your team contact.
